Hello, I have a question on application solutions for this idea I have. Currently I own the N810, this is actually my first device from Nokia and my first use of a an operating system besides Windows XP.

I am looking to keep track of my trip to share with my friends. I would like to Twitter my trip and also track myself via GPS in the off chance I find any place that I forgot to get information about.

I'm wondering if there are any application solutions for this, in my minds eye I see being able to have this on a google based map that people can look at, and also have the twitter of whats going on with maybe a blog overview of the entire day.

If the Nokia n810 is not able to do this please let me know, also keep in mind that I am noob when it comes to this device.

Well first you would need an internet connection. Will you be pairing the n810 with a cell phone for internet access on the go? As for twitter there was a port of a twitter client being worked on. Not sure how that is coming along so do a search for it. Or you could just login to twitter thru the main website. As for the mapping and gps points i believe maemo mapper offers the functionality you seek.

As for the internet connection I have this paired with my cell phone so I will have continuous internet access (just need to get an extended battery that n810 really sucks it dry).
