Hi folks, Ive just upgraded to Diablo and everything works like a charm. After installing Personla Menu and several other applications that comes in handy, Ive came to this particular (n00b?) problem. This is the situation:
Ive installed ettercap wich has to be executed as root from the command line in order to make the program and its GUI run properly. Since the task of opening Xterm, type "root" then type ettercap -G in order to have my program running is quite cumbersome, at least for my lazy ***. So Ive tried to set Personal Manager to aid me in such a task. The thing is that selecting the option "Run as root?" does nothing. So I was wondering if someone can give me a hand on what should be the command line to be written in order to get ettercap running without the aforementioned steps.
