I've been having trouble tethering to my nokia 6086 cell phone for an internet connection after the diablo upgrade. Is anyone else having this problem?

I am reflashing again, without restoring any of my backed up data, to see if the backup broke the tethering.

I've checked with my data plan and nothing changed there. I even reset my phone and "re-paired" the bluetooth.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

The thetering process consists of two main steps -
bluetooth pairing and ppp negotiations. You can know that pairing worked when you see the bluetooth icon turning blue. If you tell in what steps the failure occurs it will be easier to help you.

I figured it out!

Diablo does not preserve/restore the data carrier's password after the reflash. I needed to manually reenter my data network's password into the "data network setup" step of the phone pairing process. Once I did that, the service got restored.
