after upgrading to diablo i am unable to upgrade modest/email app

i have become root
apt-get update
apt-get -f install
apt-get upgrade

(in that order)

and this is what i get

>dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/modest_1.0- >2008.24-1_armel.deb (--unpack):

>trying to overwrite >`/usr/share/locale/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/modest.mo', which is also >in package modest-l10n

i have obviously screwed something up

how do i fix short of re-flashing-

Slight stab in the dark (since I'm too lazy to investigate this directly right now), but remove the Modest beta repository?

I had this same problem using the Application Manager
"unable to update modest" was the error message I would receive.
removing modest related repositories seemed to remove the problem.

Having the same problem - how does one determine the Modest related repositories?
