N800 and N810 are the same board basically. The TI OMAP is an all-in-one chip that contains an ARM11 core. Both a cross compile version of gcc and a native gcc are available. Bash is available as well. Hope that helps.

SO that whole thing comes down to:
1. Could I run command-line programs on the tablet?
2. Is Bash or sh available for the n810?
3. What shell does the n810 use as default?
