I dont know if I being a complete noob but how do I browse the device memory from the computer, because I want but my music on the device memory because I am booting from the MMC, so it doesnt leave me much room on the Memory Card.

settings -> control panel ->memory

look at "Device" to see how much space you still have from your boot device, "internal" and "external" for the MMC windows-reachable (FAT partitions)

Install the ssh server & client, then use sftp to browse the filesystem (you just need a wifi connection, no need to plug it in using usb)

Maybe network transfer over usbnet can be significantly faster and similar to usb storage speed. In this case maybe swapping usb storage with usbnet as being the default may make sense (and even running samba or nfs server on device).
