Connie --

In the connections list, are those three WiFi connections all showing an icon with a little "dot" on top? If so, those are "ad hoc network" connections, and not (necessarily) connections to the internet -- usually, they're connections to (again, usually) Windows laptop machines that have enabled the built-in WiFi card in promiscuous mode (occasionally for malicious purposes).

Do you have a WiFi router in your house (or wherever you're at)? Does it show up on the list? (maybe it's set to "hide" its SSID) ... ??

Darn..Yes they do.. I am at work right now and do not have access to router. I can't get service from home cause it is not available yet. I guess I can't really use this if I can't connect to a hotspot somewhere.. Very disappointed. Not in the unit just no access.

Thanks for you help..

Unencrypted networks may still be using MAC filtering to limit who can connect.
