I recently confirmed that Sprint will not be selling the N810 WIMAX in their stores when they roll out WIMAX in Baltimore this month. Also, every place I have seen online indicates the WIMAX version will ship when available and I would like to purchase and have the device within a couple of days of paying for it. Does anyone know of a location to purchase the WIMAX version in the Baltimore/DC area? Also, any recommendations for immediate delivery via online purchase?

AFAICT, it's not being shipped because the network's not launched; I think the N810W should be available quite shortly after Xohm launches.

I feel that is correct, but as the Sprint employee told me they should roll out in several weeks and not knowing what the order back log is with the will ship when available online purchases, I am hoping that forum members in the Baltimore/DC area could use this thread to share local availability...if there is any. Basically, I don't want to purchase the WIMAX edition if Sprint does not roll out, and when/if they do, I would like to be able to purchase shortly thereafter.

Provantage (provantage.com) seems to have the lowest price on the N810 Wimax edition--$401.68 plus shipping. Since Nokia hasn't made the unit available to any retailers, they list this as a special order. You might give them a call at their toll-free number and see if they have any idea when they'll get their shipment from Nokia. I've ordered a few things from them in the past and they were pretty responsive.
