Hi

N800 cannot find media servers on my pc. I've installed canola Media servers plugin and Media Streamer. On my pc I've tried Windows media player 11 (having enabled media sharing, WMP cannot find the N800). I've also tried Tversity which works fine through the internet but not via upnp. Searching servers with canola bring up "No items found", Media Streamer searches for new devices without ever find anything.

After browsing forums I have allowed port forwarding for port 41952 on Dlink router, added Tversity to Comodo firewall (applications and network), disabled WMP sharing, changed the adapters and bindings setting on my network but nothing seems to change.

Any ideas gratefully recieved

Try disabling Comodo's firewall fully, maybe you're doing it wrong (sometimes Comodo is not very easy to configure).

Thanks but I've tried that and it makes no difference. My hunch is that it is something in the Dlink DSL G624T router settings that is the problem. It took me ages to be able to use the check for update feature on the Application Manager, this was due to the DNS settings on the router.

My next step will be to try changing the encryption from WEP to WPA which I have been putting off for ages!
