I'm using a Mac. I'm trying to reflash to reformat the device. I'm using RX-34_DIABLO_4.2008.36-5_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin with the 770 Flasher App for Mac OS X. I'm following the process as I have in the past, but the updater gets this far then stops:

Found device RX-34, hardware revision 1302
NOLO version 1.1.16
Version of 'sw-release': RX-34+RX-44+RX-48_DIABLO_4.2008.36-5_PR_MR0

I've tried it a dozen different ways, with two different USB cables, different plug-in and power-on sequences... I have no idea why it won't work. Is it possible that it won't flash this firmware if it's the same or newer version or something?

Any help is appreciated.

Try linux version?

This looks like a problem

The Windows version of the Nokia flash tool updated it fine and wiped the memory like I wanted it to. Note to ITT: The 770 Flasher for Mac may not flash OS2K8 Diablo if it has already performed an internet update.

Now I can sell it. Whee!
