See http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=19044 for a complete introduction and picture/screen shots.
On the new update, go down to USA - VCURLs72, channels are in alphabetical order, that will be your video center feeds and mostly are ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN plus more major USA TV channels. As always, feedback/comments/thanks/rotten tomatoes are ALL welcome. Again, osso media player seems to play more smoothier and mplayer plays more format/channels. Mplayer has two advantages while ossomediaplayer still missing, i.e. fullscreen widescreen and very loud audio. There are also some added channels and dead links removed, house keeping as always. All the requested channels, if it works, are incorporated. Please keep posting about dead links to keep 'down' the number of channels, current number of channel is 190 + 72 for a total of 262 world TV channels.
Useful tips,
I use emelfm2 to do the modification,
/etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf
added the following to the bottom of the file, mplayer.conf
softvol=yes
softvol-max=600
audio-delay=yes
audio-delay=10
This increases vol and better AudioVisual de-sync.
If the streaming format is NOT available for that particular player, it will keeps on skipping to the next feed, usually switch to the other player will do.
Go Menu>Player>check Use omapfb will also helps too.
Try to use the favorite. That should be your personal TVlist as WorldTV99 is getting a little bit big now . It is very simple, any channel you are watching and you like it, just add to the favorite and open your favorite as your default, and 'wander' into WorldTV99 on a leisure basis.
On full screen, click right upper conner to bring up the menuBar, and click the green star will add the playing channel to your fav list. Fav list stays with upgrade. and one can open the fav on the window menu by clicking the green fav button.
double tap the screen switch between window and full screen.
