Just updated from Chinook to Diablo (4th Jan, 5.2008.43-7) and all (mostly) OK. Tried
to install maemo-mapper from maemo.org but despite downloading the latest install
file (vs. 2.5.2 for OS2008) App Mgr insisted on trying to load 2.5.3 marked
"OS2006-OS2007" version and won't be dissuaded! This fails due to an absence
of some app packages eg. hildon-base-lib0(>=0.9.3). Added to which the OS2006-OS2007 version is the only version of Mapper that shows in the list of “Installable Applications”
I have three maemo catalogues installed:
