Does anyone know if Nokia is working on implementing WPA2 in OS2006?

I'm using WPA2 Personal with my 770 and Linksys WRTSL54GS

How did you set about it? Is there some software to download or other trick I don't know of?

No, I just selected WPA w/ preshared key when setting up the connection, then entered the key.

Did you have to set up static ip? Are you using TKIP + AES or AES (on the router).

I use TKIP + AES on the router.

I do not set the 770 to use a static IP address. It's set to use DHCP.
But I use a feature of the router called Static DHCP which assigns fixed IP addresses to my computers based on their MAC addresses. This is handy for forwarding ports through the router's firewall.

Thanks. Problem I had last night was; I could connect on every so many tries, but not get an ip adress. Works now. I had to take my router back to factory default.

Which router are you using? I really like the Linksys WRTSL54GS with Thibor's firmware.

Linksys WRT54G v2. I'm thinking about putting openwrt or rrwrt on it, but mostly just running the baseline linksys (mainly because I'm to lazy / time strapped to hack it).

Thibor's version of HyperWRT should run on that router.
