Hello, I'm a prospective GSoC student. I'm quite interested in doing development for Canola as a project. Along with the Bittorrent plugin idea, I thought of a MythTV frontend plugin. Some details on this idea, a MythTV server (Mythbox) would stream TV data to the nxx0 (wirelessly of course) via UPnP (which is supported in MythTV). Also, a UI (the controller) would be developed to emulate all the basic functionalities of watching TV with MythTV. So basically you get a MythTV frontend that can watch TV and control your MythTV backend with (record media, etc..). And more, when you record something and save it on your Mythbox...you can "Sync" your nxx0 to download and save those media files for later watching. Pop on that Battlestar Galactica episode that you missed last night when you are on your lunch break at work!

This is just an initial idea, not yet a proposal, can I get some feedback on this? Yays or Nays? >.<

Thanks, I saw that. I'm just trying to get some opinions, possibly some tips or recommendations.
