hey guys, Did anyone ordered their N900 from Amazon get the device yet? I really hoping they clarifying on the shipping date on their website. The status still stay the item is not available yet. But seriously I've been waiting for their reply to confirm their release date.

For anyone that got Amazon to actually ship and receive the Nokia N900 cell phone before Christmas, kudos. Amazon was offering supposedly Guaranteed Christmas Eve delivery with paid shipping service, not fulfilled. Some reps say because Amazon's system didn't update during exact minute of checkout for the Nokia N900, that hundreds of orders supposedly arrived simultaneously. That explanation doesn't explain why stock shown as quantity never changed over hours time. Or why Amazon changed pricing with what appears to be N900 shipment to customers who paid more for the phone.

No matter what, do not change any part of order or it changes where the Amazon customer is in line. Expedited, one-day shipping change/upgrade by Amazon Customer Service causes ordering N900 customer to be thrown to bottom of line in ordering, with late February 2010 estimated arrival of the hottest Nokia cell.
