Hmmm,
Can't believe nobody has mentioned this in a big way yet.

I can Play FLAC files out of the file manager, but the Media Player does not catalog them in the DB? Anybody else noticed this? Most of my songs have been FLAC'd, so kinda a PITA here. Seems an easy fix.

For you guys who play FLAC files, how do you play more than one at a time? I tried to go into the file manager and use Ctrl-A for select all and nothing happens. It will play then one at a time if I click on them, but only one at a time.

I can see the FLAC files under Unknown in the Media Player and from there I can play them.

Have you tried making a playlist?

ls *.flac > flacs.m3u

I don't have any flac files, so I am not certain that this would work.

Its not a bug as such, ogg support simply does mot support tags yet. Annoying yes but thats community software, you cant expect everything all at once for free.

You can expect everything yesterday for free, but alas you'll end up disappointed.

I'm a little confused though. The post was about FLAC support. How did we get onto ogg tag?

I was the original Poster and didn't see them showing up. If the player would just respect the Fact they were in a different folder I would be happy. If you have 1500 FLACs, they all end up in the same "unknown" album. So you might have Fifty songs all called "01". I'll see if the play list works.
