Forgive me if the search function failed me, but I have a question about an application that should exist if it doesn't yet.

One of the main draws of a PSP for me is that I can connect it to my PS3 from work (or my girlfriend's house) and stream media from my home network.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? This would be a huge selling point for the N900 for me.

knots is your solution. it has 2 parts server for pc and client for n900. there is an article for it on maemo wiki

How do you stream through Tmobile 3G...?? it won't connect to my PC unless i am using home wi-fi.

you have to set up your firewall to forward the proper ports from your public ip to the ip of your server:
