...We will probably switch to tmo in the near future because they are cheaper but I will have to go to one of their retailers in the nearby area so I can see if we are in a 3g area. According to their service map we should be but I have seen how that can be off...
I really want to get the n900 but we are currently with att and I can't complain about the service and my wife recently renewed her contract when she got her new phone.
I know the n900 doesn't support the 3g band for att. Would I still be able to use data with the n900? Primarily texting and email. I can use wifi at work and home for faster speeds.
I am against the iphone because of my hearing and having to have it in the perfect position for me to hear let alone the dropped calls with it. I had tried a 3g last year and I had it three days till I returned it.
I can always switch to tmo once our contracts get closer to ending. I am afraid that I will go and get the n900 only to have nokia release a new version supporting att 3g within 6 months.
If the n900 will work fine on att all be it slower then I will still go with it. The only other phone I was considering was the n97 mini but I don't think I will be happy with the symbian os.
Thanks in advance for any information.
