I kinda like alot of flash games. Is there an offline flash game launcher when I am not hooked to the net? Forgive my ignorance, I haven't got my n900 yet in the mail, maybe it does it by default?

Just download the .swf and store it on your phone. When you go to run the .swf it will automatically open in your browser.

Yes, just open them in the file manager

If you try to run a Flash game and it does not work or your device seems warm even after closing the game, check in xterminal to see if browsersd or pulseaudio are still running. Sometimes the games hang. Not often, but they sometimes can.

Simple just to reboot the N900 or "kill" the apps in terminal.

Bear in mind that with swf you can right-click (= tap and hold for tablets) and adjust the quality. I always put Flash games on Low Quality. Sure, higher res would be nice, but that goes out the window when the game is unplayably slow.

Also, search this forum for other threads on Flash games.

Dude asks:
"Is there an offline flash game launcher?"

Another dude answers:
Sure there is... It's called microB.

As others suggested earlier in this thread. once you download the game's .swf file and save it on your device, browse to where you saved it with file manager and click on it. It will open in microB. Once opened save it as a bookmark in a new bookmark folder called "Flash Games" or somesuch.

Now you can launch games by either saving each bookmark to a dedicated "Games" desktop or by simply clicking on the " Web" (globe shortcut icon) and browsing to your new "Flash Games" bookmark folder.

How do you download flash files? I guess MicroB would store it somewhere once you downloaded it but I haven't the foggiest idea of where to look for it.

On another note: Hell Tour works great on the n900 i've been trying to download that but can't seem to find where the flash file is stored.

lol of all the flash games I have been ripping from the net, this was the easiest one as the link is already there. The "launch game" is the direct link to the .swf file.

The rest of them are deep in the page code and I have to manually find them.
