currently when charging the n900 the battery charge animation only plays through the full loop. this makes it hard to know how much the phone has been charged up - currently you have to disconnect the charger to see where it is at.

im proposing that the animation is modified to being dynamic. meaning the green only drops down to the current charge level before it starts rising. this would make it easy to guage current charge level.

good idea?

This is hard because the battery level is not reported during charging. The voltage is reported, but seems somehow to be wrong. I'm preparing a reply for the thread "Estimating the charge time"
