Look for the sticker on the box where a bunch of numbers like IMEI, MAC addresses are printed. If you see something like 51/2009 on the lower right corner of the sticker that means phone was manufactured in week 51 of year 2009.

I have, but unable to find any production date. I can see values, such as IMEI/WLAN & other values, and numbers but don't see any date printed. Could the production date be fetched some other way?

Is it possible that there regional differences? My German box doesn't seem to have the production week either.

Mine has no production date either, the sticker is black if that makes any difference.

Asked a friend of mine the other day (he's from the UK) and he doesn't have it either, mine (US one) does (47/2009 if anyone wants to know)

My European DDP box doesn't have the sticker either.

What about inside under the battery. Usually there is a sticker with the IMEI, MAC, etc. Don't own a N900 so it's just a suggestion. But every phone I've owned has had a sticker under the battery.
I'm sorry if this has already been posted but is there any way to find the exact production date of the N900? I am not referring to the software date. I have browsed for identical threads, and someone advised to look at the box; I tried with no success.
