Hi all,

Over the past couple of weeks I've had numerous problems with the n900 including:
  • I couldn't access the internal storage through anything other than terminal, I got errors saying it was corrupted
  • very poor performance and battery life
  • applications freezing as the n900 was out of memory
  • handset turning off or becoming unresponsive
  • desktop widgets are not clickable

these problems have stopped me really being able to do anything.

I've flashed the phone with the vanilla emmc image and then the latest global release, I am still getting poor performance unclickable widgets and my calendar no longer works, it just sits their loading.

the calendar is important to me as I use it to go to meetinga etc. without it I need to lug about a laptop everywhere tethered to the phone or use pen and paper!

I am on the verge of getting a replacement handset, can anyone help?

Thanks

There were some ideas in "Wordt Phone ever"-thread where hoppa123 ( or something similar ) was having problems with his phone and it turned out to be memory controller, which was the problem.

I would suggest you check that thread out and try the steps described there to check your drive first, try fsck to fix it and that way gain more information about what could be the root cause for your problems.
