If Nokia released a "Next G" compatible tablet, would you:

none of the above b/c i think theres space in my life for a dedicated tablet and a hybrid tablet/phone

To everyone who's wondering what the heck "Next G" is.. It's a brand name of Telstra's Australian 3G network that operates on frequencies the N900 doesn't support. Obviously not available in Finland so I'll pass.

It's got nice symmetry and it's right next to G in both alphabets and keyboards.

I would go for it if it is the same size as N900 but with bigger screen (leaving very less space like HTC HD2) with 854x480 resolution, little thinner and a bit more powerful hardware spec and more.... Ya, I'm a dreamer

Telstra 'nextG' is a long range 3G network built on a non standard frequency. Telstra built the first long range 3G network in australia and the it appears they chose a non standard frequency in order to increase the barrier customers would face in they decided to 'churn'. There have always been a limited choice of devices for nextG due to the non-standard frequency.

I prefer not to use next G because i find the whole idea of using a non standard frequency just so your competitors cant use the same frequency a proposition that does not appeal to me.

Some people live in areas where sadly next g is their only option, but i do not.
