Hey guys. I had an incident last night lol

I need to know how I turn off notification of missed calls but especially SMS that come up on the screen for a few seconds in the yellow talking box!

LOL. At night, you want to put it in tablet mode, no phone calls or sms at all!
If you need to keep the phone on, just put it on silent, turn the volume to zero (I don't think it is required, but do it just in case) and lock the screen. That should sort it.

lol thats what i do. but i still want to get sms's and missed calls. thanks to the little flashing blue light lol


any ideas anyone???

if you don't like the little flashing blue led (if i got you right) you can turn of notifications lights in preferences - notification lights..
just uncheck the box in front of sms or missed calls
if thats not the case, there's an app which disables the yellow notification windows in extras devel i think (never tested it though), you could try this one.

i just had a look in extras devel but was not able to find it..
i may have looked to fast over it, or i dreamed it.. if thats the case i'm very sorry for giving you a false advice!

I wasn't able to find anything in the repos to disable notifications either. Does anyone have a method for accomplishing this? The alerts can be pretty obnoxious for IM accounts. An option to selectively enable/disable notifications (per service/account/etc.) would be awesome.
