I just wanted to start a new thread for ringtones, message tones, icons and stuff like that there are alot of sites out there but none have support for maemo people can get help with changing and modding their phones on here and get some interesting tones instead of boring beeps just cause the n900 is a mobile computer doesn't mean it cant be the same as a phone.

I hope everyone likes this idea !!! i know there are some very clever people on here and i have had allot of help so i would like to try and help others and get the n900 to the top.

put email and message tones in usr/home/mydocs/sounds as mp3 then choose selection through settings profile and sms, email alert, more they should be listed.

other notifications are in usr/share sounds normally need to be wav format.

Changing boot video some new vids supplied by others on here and instructions in rar plz be careful when changing n900 system do not change anything else and remember to keep a copy of original hands boot video. if the instruction dont work try renaming the video to the same as the hands one (Hands-v32-h264) and leave the default.conf file blank.
