try out MussOrgsky on your N900.
it's in the repo. (don't remember which one though) but it works very well and esy

Yes MussOrgsky works very well, and you can download album pictures for your songs easy too.. But it didnt worked with *.wma i think (i know you said *.mp3 but just to know..). Last time i saw it it was in extras-devel i think.

I have Mussorgsky and have found that the it will crash when attempting to edit certain files (note: quite a lot of my files)...others it works a dream.
Was not aware of .wma issue (does that cause it to crash?), though I did not think I had any .wma files and certainly not as many my problem might suggest.
This is my experience, I need to check before I go on

i want to edit certain file details (artist name) of a couple of mp3s. i tried going through the media player and file manager but no luck.
anybody have an idea?
