Hi, I have a problem with the Qik application from OVI store:
The record screen is entierely green and there are no way to start recording: Video capture stop at 0:00:00
Can someone help me to get Qik app working please ?

that is the record button man...press that itll work.

I push the green button but it get stuck on:
REC 0:00:00
LIVE
and the preview is totally green.

uninstall and reinstall.

Please send me log files from /home/user/.qik/logs folder and write your Qik's login.

I have the same problem, i have a green screen, I uninstalled reinstalled, updated it and same thing, Green Screen. Do you think it has something to do with the overclocking of my N900, it doesn't have the about info on settings. btw i overclocked mine to 930mhz, not sure if it has something to do with this.

I figured it out!

it has something to do with the overclocking.

I put back the original 600 mhz kernel and followed this link to get the about info from settings.

and it worked again!

so that means ... the about page is important and without it may cause nasty effects on future updates.

iL find the link instead on overclocking n900 but still retaining the about page.

Reason of your problem is some environment variables on your phone is not set.Type in terminal

Code:
echo "export ENV=/home/user/.ashrc" >> ~/.profile
echo "export OSSO_PRODUCT_FULL_NAME=Nokia N900" >> ~/.ashrc
echo "export OSSO_PRODUCT_RELEASE_NAME=Maemo 5" >> ~/.ashrc
and reboot your device.
