The bar next to time is not volume slider. You need to click the speaker icon at the right bottom corner which opens up the volume slider.

i also have a similar issue. since pfr 1.3 when using he media player or Sygic the volume keys no longer work. any ideas?
When using the media player to listen to music, the volume slider in the application does not work. To change the volume i have to click the status bar and change the volume from there. Is anyone else having this problem? If so can it be fixed?
