I've got this answer:
"It is probably quite obvious that I have no plans of being your hero:
no material gain there. I have made Maemo versions of my emulators
available free of charge. They are as good as I could make them, given
resource constraints, and being gradually improved when I have time to
work on them. So, enjoy what you have got."
Well, i've tried. The best thing we can do now is to hope that someone port/make new versions of these emulators!

So with all that development, iNES, VGB and VGBA are some (big) steps behind. Even the NES emulator has it's problems with sound. VGBA is even worse, i can't play Zelda Four Swords/Link To the Past, and all games have problems with sound!
I think that if the N900 has the horsepower to run PSX and N64 emulators, why shouldn't it run these emulators perfectly?
