i tried to install some applications but it wont work

for example i wanted to update conversation inbox widget and install extended call logger but it wont work because i dont have installed lib???eventlogger???

when i try to search the repos i cant find anything? how can install these lib-files?

because the problem is with other programs and other lib...-files?

who can help me?

How are you doing your install?

If you are installing packages manually using dpkg, you need to install all the dependency manually. If you use apt-get, then the dependency will be downloaded for you automatically.

The simplest way is to use the Application Manager to download new application, or use the Ovi Store application.

Hello Bernard and thanks for replying but i allready tried installing them in application manager. it's in this program i get the error because i'm missing lib-files.

Maybe it required PR1.2?

i got it with more programs like a cpu checker that is reviewed on nokian900applications.com and extended call log

pretty sure that has something to do with the maintenance that was done to the auto-builder yesterday.

Because the PR 1.2 SDK is out, and apps can be developed on that platform, there had to be an adaptation in the back to allow for backwards compatibility as i understand it.

I had the missing lib files error for EightyOne yesterday, and after trying again today, it installed just fine.
