Is there any way to make an internet radio station play as an alarmclock?

Would be wonderful having a way to wake up to the BBC world service in the morning.

Thanks

Sounds like you should file an enhancement request in Bugzilla - would get my vote.

Just in case anyone thinks that Bugzilla Votes are a waste of time, apparently not:

So remember: submitting requests for enhancements in bugzilla counts.
Voting the requests you think that should go first count. Of course we have to deal with many other factors for any single request, but your actions count. Emails in mailing lists with requests are useful too but, you, know, easier to forget. Bugzilla never forgets, this is why it's such a cool tool.

Since I have no experience whatsoever with Bugzilla, could someone else please go ahead and submit it?

And make sure to tell me how to vote ;P

You need to create a bugzilla account -> https://maemo.org/bugzilla/

Once you have an account, you can submit new bugs by clicking the New link - select the correct component (N800 or a specific application) and enter the comment to describe the problem/enhancement. Take a look at some existing bugs to get a feel for how it works.

All talk and no action makes jack a dull boy.

This has now been posted in Bugzilla -- let's vote it up!

After some trial and error I succeeded in voting for radio as alarm.

I also added a comment that I would like to see additional function along the lines of scheduling recording of radio so you can listen to it later. I am not sure how best to achieve that. I am thinking of what you are said to be able to do with the Cowon D2.
