Gday all newbie question here.

I reflashed the n900 using

Code:
sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture <flasher-package-name>
This worked great and I now have the new 1.2 working. I am wanting a fresh start to wipe everything from a fresh format as all of my user data and application settings are still on the phone. I have something weird happening with an app from the testing repo and want to start from scratch.

Is this what cold flashing is?

Flash the eMMC as well, there are step by step instructions in the wiki. Read them carefully!
