Hi

I have just upgraded my phone from an N95 to N900. On the N95, I could select a number from the contacts and then choose whether to make a regular mobile call or an internet call. This feature appears to be missing on the N900.

I can make sip calls with numbers stored in the sip tag but I wish to have a choice to either dial a phone tag via the a regular mobile call or via voip

I see I have this option when using the dial pad. Am I too simply for my phone or is it something I need to ask nokia to "fix"? I dont really want to store the number multiple times.

Fabio

PS - Love the phone.

Is your VoIP account setup? (Parameters / Accounts)

If so, when you select the number, at the top of the screen, you will see the "call type" (cellular), if you press on it, you can change to a VoIP account.

My voip is setup and working. I have "call type" from the dial pad. The problem is when I select the number out of my contacts. It dials the number immediately, not giving me a chance to select which "call type" to use.

I found the solution, I needed to tick "use for telephone numbers" in the advance options.
