Guys do you have any interesting ringtones? I really like N900's defaults and I wonder if some of you have anything similar maybe from other Nokias or other phones please post them

MP3 ringtones, download Ridin Solo - Jason Derulo, its got a nice starting music. I love it on my n900.

I spent a bit of time perusing free online sound effect archives for some funky futuristic sci-fi sound effects. There's everything from the communicator whistle and door swish from Star Trek to highly original sounds that will make your phone sound like nothing on earth.

If you download Lockdaemon you can add sound functionality to the N900; you can assign specific short sound files for when you open & close the slide and lock/unlock the phone.

I now have a highly personalised library of distinctive and unusual ringtones, alarms and message tones. Next step is to tackle the system sounds,but that's a bit more advanced.

So we're talking all-over sounds then? Heres mine:

call tone - loud, clear, old mobile style
message tone - loud, clear, approx. 4 seconds long
keyboard open/close - swoosh sounds
lock switch lock/unlock - tech button sounds

volume on lock/keyboard sounds is very low as to not be an annoyance.
