I wonder if is there any external adaptar, micro USB I think, that turns my n900 into a digital HD TV receiver... ¿?

with that big screen it could be cool!

Does anyone know anything about it?

By "digital HD TV" receiver you mean...

- DVB-S(atellite) ?
- DVB-C(able) ?
- DVB-T(errestrial) ?

Currently there is no USB device known to me that is supported by the phone itself. You would need to have a compatible driver and get that running on the N900 kernel.
Then there are the power issues. That would drain a lot more battery than you could afford...

Maybe streaming from VLC to the N900 via wireless lan would be more realistic, at least for now.

This is something I have also hoped!

I have anysee usb-digitv to my computer

www.anysee.com

their own pages and

www.linuxtv.org

says that device works with ubuntu...

Does anybody know, if issues conserning N900 usb porting are solved, is it hard to transfer ubuntu based programs to world of maemo?

how'd you plug it into wall charger while having usb occupied with receiver oO

A hub, when we get host mode working properly.

Is charging that way supported?
I thought the middle pins must be linked in order to recognize the phone to charge from "dumb power sources", thus eliminating data transfer between hub / n900.

If there's a way to circumvent that limitation, that'd be a solution for the receiver.
