Dear Pros
I am just a newbie for N900 & Maemo.
I want to do Overlocking follow Fenc Method as
http://wiki.maemo.org/Overclocking#U..._.28by_Fecn.29
But I don't know how to install the Dbus-scripts package?
I had tried to Install all deb file from Extra Device but still fail.
Is there any Pros can help me?
Thanks in advance.
Warmest Regards

If you dont know how to do that, you might not want to. Also you will lose your Warranty, at least if they can figure out that the device has been overclocked. At 1Ghz the N900 becomes unstable for some people. You have been warned, here is how to make the scripts.

Create two new files within the /usr/local/bin directory called underclock and overclock

Paste the contents of the yellow boxes (except the first line where it says filename) into the files respectively

run these commands in the n900's terminal

Code:
sudo gainroot
chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/underclock
chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/overclock

Dear Siggen,
Thank you so much for your kindness.
I did exactly as following:
- sudo gainroot
- killall dbus-scripts
- chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/underclock
- chmod 755 /usr/local/bin/overclock
No error message but no things happen.
I wonder that I has installed the dbus-scripts yet or not?
Because I fail to install the deb. file in Extras-Devel.
I only can install dbus-scripts-settings written by Matan Ziv-Av .
Pls advise.
May thanks
