Update: 30/08:
0.5-1: Fixed Dependencies (I hope) + Portrait mode
Here's what on my todo list:
- Zoom buttons
- Automatic rotation
- Set a "home", as in a special part of the map to be shown when the app is opened
Here's what has been implemented:
-Portrai mode(DONE since 0.5-1 )
-About menu (DONE since 0.3-2)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seeing as my first application, Vuvuzela, is working pretty well, I decided to create the 2nd app on my to-do list.
I've always wanted a quick and easy way to tube a map of London's underground without having to open a pdf or connect to the Internet.
I could of simply created an icon that links to a file on the N900 but I prefer apps since they give you more flexibility!
The app can be found in Extras-Devel. (just search for "LTM")
Install only if you understand what downloading software from there means!
The lates version is: 0.3-2
When you start the app:
In fullscreen:
Portrait mode
Features:
-Starts up quite fast
-Very fluid scrolling
-Supports fullscreen
To Do:
-Add portrait mode --> DONE
-Add zoom in/out buttons
-Better Icon (any help would be greatly appreciated!)
Please do install it and have a go and report ANY issues you may encounter. Feedback is more than welcome.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT:
While I do understand that is app is only useful to people living or travelling to London, I am considering creating another one that would prompt the user to select an image on the device and would then add it to the app.
This way the app could incorporate one or many of your maps and you could toggle between them by selecting them from the menu bar, like this:
In the settings menu, you could delete the maps, chose to force orientation and any other function you would like to see
Anyhow, if what I just described is something you would like to see, let me know and I might just make it

Applications I've made:
- Vuvuzela
- LTM: London Tube Map
