- go to http://www.ubuntu.com
- download Ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10
- burn image to CD (or create a bootable USB flash drive)
- reboot your PC
- try the commands from the LiveCD (no need to install!)

i have a big problem with n900 for flash
i flashed it with combin file in cmd with maemo flasher 3.5
it is ok .
but when flashed it with vanilla file
... see down picture ....
what is problem ??
