typing on the screen keyboard is awesome but it's relatively slow when it comes to fast typing
l don't know if the resistive screen is the reason but i dont think so because i tried a samsung phone with resistive screen and my fingers were flying over the keys with 100% smooth response (knowing that its an old samsung phone)

an example of slow responses
"Peter waseating fishat lunchtody"
that was supposed to be "Peter was eating fish at lunch today"

what's the slow response problem and what's the solution
