Well I want to buy a Nokia N900 and from all the review I've read, it's great, may lack applications, but I understand there is a large community creating applications, and that the resistive touch screen is a piss take. So what do you dislike about the phone? because I can't really see any more problems. oh yeah and the space button is placed wrongly but am willing to adjust

Are you a developer? Or a Linux fan in a big way? If not, maybe you should consider a more mainstream phone. A lot of the apps are dev apps and unless you are willing to install NITdroid as a secondary OS you may well consider the apps being a little lacking.

I am a large linux fan, the ability to have a terminal attracted me and am not an application crazy type of guy, as long as it can play a game or two and has maps and maybe a text editor am fine, I might of installed NITdroid onto the phone as an experiment as I have a spare memory card. I just want to know what people dislike about the phone so I hear both sides of the arguement

Lack of compass.
Closed source there where clearly is bugs to be fixed or features to be added. No can do.

It's too big and fat and plasticky!

I'm happy with resistive as I can use stylus, or pen or anything sharp, has plenty of apps, more than enough!

More solid micro usb would be good! I've had mine for just under a year and charge it every single day and micro usb has not broken yet!

Do you want to use it as a phone? Or are you looking for an internet tablet with 3G capabilities? As a phone it works but sucks (heavy, short battery life, on high CPU load phone app freezes and there is no way to answer the call), but as a pocketable netbook replacement it is on the top.
