I'd like it to contiue playing vids even if the first ones over and go on to the next video how do you do this?

Use mplayer.

Cd to directory where you have videos and do:
mplayer -shuffle *

I wonder why would you want to do that. I mean, are you doing something that requires such a condition or what. Otherwise, selecting the next video to play isn't a time consuming task and it allows you to select the video you'd like to watch next. Anyways, Mplayer can fulfill your requirement i think as gionni88 said

Sometimes I download from youtube episodes splitted in x parts and I use it to avoid hitting next when I'm watching those with tv-out.
