I also asked on the main Nitdroid forum but no one's been able to answer.

I'm trying to get Google Nav to work with NitDroid. According to the Nitdroid site, it should work with an external bluetooth GPS.

I bought a cheap TomTom MarkII GPS on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ms_ohs_product)

I have Nitdroid up and running, and the GPS is on.

The phone "pairs" with the GPS, but only shows "paired but not connected" in the Android Settings/Wireless/Bluetooth Settings.

I downloaded: BlueGPS4Droid (http://sourceforge.net/p/bluegps4droid/home/) and installed it. I can open it and get it to run. However, this is where I stall. It's not talking to the GPS, possibly/probably because the devices are "paired but not connected". Alternately, they may be "paired but not connected" because I have to do something to get BlueGPS4Droid running more completely.

Any suggestions on what I can do to get the phone to finish connecting to the GPS so that Google Nav will work?

Any luck so far ? Or should we consider that this device (TomTom MarkII) is incompatible ?

I happened to have old Nokia LD-3W lying around in my drawer. I downloaded Bluetooth GPS app from play store and used it to pair and connect LD-3W. It seems to be working ok. I'll go for a walk later on and try it out with Sports-tracker to confirm if it's really working.
