I'm trying to write a program that can simultaneously record and playback sound on the N900.
Playing sound or recording it works separately, but when I try them simultaneously, only the playback is done correctly, and recording returns garbage. (actually some measure of loudness is recorded, as I can blow into microphone, but nothing other than that is recorded)
I've based my experiments on the examples provided by the Qt Creator 2.0.1 (based on Qt 4.7.0).
I've even tried to put the recording/playback into separate programs and running them simultaneously to no avail.
Do you have any suggestion?
Is there any hardware/software restrictions preventing this to be done?
How can I test for them?
