I was able to get Gizmo Project to import my AIM contacts, and ursine.ca to import both my AIM and ICQ contacts, but in either case, when I added them to my chat accounts, the dedicated contact list for that connection my Contact List said "no contacts." They show up in the listing of contacts with whom to chat if I tap on Start Chat, but they don't even appear as off-line in the list under Contact List.
Can anyone help? I'd just as soon not use Gaim because it seems buggy and has a tendency to crash itself or the entire Nokia.
Hi,
I'm not very aware of AIM, but for MSN the format of my contacts in Jabber is
contact%hotmail.com@msn.jabber.nuxo.net if the MSN address of my contact is contact@hotmail.com and my Jabber MSN gateway is msn.jabber.nuxo.net. So you may need to use the same rules for AIM.
Yes, i know, not very convenient.
