my media player does not scan any file, if i want to play some music, i will have to search it from then directory. anyone have any idea?

You can force a reindex by running "tracker-processes -r" in X Terminal, then starting Media Player.

sure you overclocked your device? try what shardul suggestion or re overclock..

nah.. i didnt overclock it. but community ssu enabled. t just happen recently after some update.. i can no longer see music list in the player.

first reboot your phone then open media player & see the result to resetting the tracker....
if still nothing happen then use my apps here....

just a quick questions...where did you puts all your music files anyway & what type of the files...mp3??? mp4??? ogg??? wma???

inside audio clips.. they are mp3 some are podcast, but all of them used to be in the media player.. i will try your apps.. the terminal code didnt work.. jst restarted, it scan the media for few minutes but still no media.. is it because of the extra memory card?

put all you mp3 in you eMMC not you memory card cause if you memory card is in FAT then you phone wont read them properly....
if its already on your eMMc then move them to your pc...unplug the cable & use my apps...then open media player as for test....
then reconnect your phone to you pc & move back all the mp3...unplug then reboot...after reboot again use my apps & then reopen media player & see the result....

Have you adjusted your tracker settings at all? I adjusted mine and it stopped tracker from indexing (it simply failed silently, and I couldn't browse my photos)

same problem here too after updating to the latest cssu forcing a reindex does not solve the problem
