Whenever I open a thread that interests me on this forum I find the browser tends to jump either to the end of the thread (last post), or else to some randomly picked page in the middle of a thread... this happens even when I've never opened that tread before.

Is there any way to turn this off? I like to read most threads completely from the beginning... and it's annoying to have to scroll up every time I open a new thread.. esp. on the n900

What are you reading it with - microb. firefox. opera... etc?
I use opera and dont get that behaviour...

Same happens with me.
Threads that I have never viewed before tale me to the end, or to a random page.
Happens both in Microb, and on my laptop using firefox.
