This patent business is getting out of hand. In a month or two, someone will patent the color orange so we would have to shell out a buck or two for every orange pixel in TMO.

ya, usually one of the most prominent country likes to patent pretty much everything in the world..... including things that are naturally occurring for millions of years

Just as an aside, I found this interesting story on how Symbian came into being and almost never made it.

It also shows that Microsoft wanted to take it over too!

yeah but am i sure microsoft still want windows phone to take over the market and outsell android because 100 buck per unit is better than 5 bucks for unit

History tells us that big empires always fall so Microsoft or the US for that matter won't last forever.
