ive noticed that the highest speed that i can overclock my n900 to without it crashing whenim watching videos is 950. i can stay on that speed for as long as i want and it wont crash. however if i am playing videos on line it is choopy sometimes. if i take it up to 1000 or over i am able to watch clean streams for a short period of time. after maybe about 10 mins sometimes less sometimes more, it crashes and reboots. is there anything i can do to to play my n900 aver 1000 for an extended time withou it crashing?

Adjusting the voltages might help.

However, too much voltage = It will fry and suck up your battery.
too little voltage = It will crash.

Anyways, If you're running power kernel, you might try to switch between profiles (you need to install a separate package for those profiles, something like "power kernel (Settings)") and try Ideal, then set the max frequency (QCPUFreq does the job) to 1000Mhz and try if it's stable. Try the various profiles.

As always, overclocking is dangerous and may end up exploding your device. You may also end up unhappy and the warranty won't cover explosions.

But read the WIKI about Power Kernel first, overclocking, as always, is dangerous.
