I am trying to install Ubtuntu as described here

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66531

But always when I am trying to start Ubuntu I am getting this Error:

"Mount Failure!

/media/mmc1/ubuntu-m5-v1.img.ext2.lzma failed to mount on loop0

mount: mounting /dev/loop1 on /.ubuntu failed: Invalid argument"

Any way to fix this error? EasyDebian works fine...

Thanks for help

Robin

Check that it extracted right.
Extract on your computer then transfer.
Try that, then reply.

Did you follow the guide fully?

No worries. If it does not work, post a reply and I will try go through it with you. I had it work a few times, no issues.

These day's it's as easy as download two files.
Install one of the phone (command line/xterm is the fastest way) and extract/unzip the other on your computer and copy it to your phone/MyDocs.

I will take a look and see if I can find the image and I will upload it.
It will not be for about 12 hours.
I may still have it in a time machine image (mac).

Images here:
http://qole.org/files/

The ubuntu image is not the same as the one that was originally linked it. It's V1 not 1.2.
