I just bought a Nokia 770 and have some questions about using the rs mmc card as swap space. Since flash memory has a limited amount of writes to it, how will using part of the card as swap space affect this. I read flash memory has around 100,000 writes to it, but I haven't been able to find how write intensive using it as swap space is. Also, since only a small portion of the memory is used as swap space, will the entire card become unusable after certain sectors go bad? I did several searches here to try to find the answer to this and couldn't find any complete answers on it.
